Join us for a heartwarming Literacy Shabbat tailored for families with children.
Celebrate the joy of reading and giving back as we swap and donate books, including beloved PJ Library® titles. Bring gently used or new books you wish to swap or donate. All donations will be sorted and gifted to Reading is Fundamental and Books are Food for Your Brain- organizations that provide books for children in need.
During this special gathering, children will have the opportunity to create beautiful bookmarks for the kids receiving these books.
We will also enjoy challah, grape juice and lighting Shabbat candles as we discuss the relationship between Shabbat and reading!
