We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with the moving of Camp Achva summer materials back to the JCCat the end of the summer season. This role ensures the efficient transition of equipment, supplies, and resources from the campsite to the JCC, facilitating the smooth conclusion of the summer program. Tasks include:
-Collaborate with fellow volunteers and camp staff to organize and pack up camp materials, including sports equipment, arts and crafts supplies, recreational gear, and other items used during the summer program.
-Safely load materials onto designated vehicles for transport from the campsite to the JCC, ensuring that all items are securely packed and properly labeled for identification.
-Unload materials at the JCC and assist in organizing them according to designated storage areas or rooms, following instructions provided by JCC staff.
-Help with the unpacking and inventorying of materials to ensure that all items are accounted for and stored appropriately for future use.Assist with any additional tasks related to the move, such as cleaning and organizing storage spaces or assisting staff with administrative duties as needed.
-Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while handling and transporting camp materials, including the proper use of lifting techniques and protective equipment.
Qualifications:
-Physical ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy objects, with willingness to engage in physical labor as needed.
