Once again, Pozez JCC is partnering with Bethlehem Lutheran Church to feed our neighbors in need during the coldest months of the year as part of FACETS’ Hypothermia Prevention Program.
Together with Congregation Olam Tikvah, we will support our neighbors in need during January 11–18. All volunteer shifts will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (8922 Little River Turnpike, Fairfax, VA 22031). Please read each shift description carefully before signing up
6:00–8:00 AM Breakfast Serve

Assist church staff in serving a morning meal to our unhoused neighbors. Tasks include setting up, plating, and light clean-up.
4:00–5:00 PM Dessert Drop-Off

Deliver baked desserts for approximately 15 people to the church. These may be homemade or purchased (cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc.)
5:00–7:30 PM Dinner Service & Clean-Up

Join us for an impactful evening of hands-on service in the church. Volunteers will assist with setting up dinner, plating and serving hot meals, refilling beverages, and light clean-up afterward.
